We then develop, gain approval for, and implement the required Safety Management System. This typically necessitates defining the captain's and shoreside areas of responsibility and authority, developing systems for reports and analyses non-conformities, and planning for emergencies, accidents, maintenance and documentation management.

Persons, give round-the-clock support, hold safety
information ashore on guests and crewmembers and act
as EPIRB and shoreside point of contact for emergency
services. Periodic reviews are conducted to check the

vessel is kept up-to-date with Flag State safety and
operational circulars.
