It's a small word, but by far the most important in our corporate vocabulary.

It's also a concept that's been lacking in the superyacht industry since it's birth. By definition, owners have worked hard -and excelled themselves-in order to create and retain their wealth. Sure, yachting is an expensive pastime-that's what provides the exclusivity-but owners should never pay more than they have to.

Philanthropy

There's more to life than superyachts. There's more to life than working. There's a world out there with millions who have neither. We appreciate that most owners already provide disproportionately generous support for every conceivable type of good cause. Which is why we at matrixLloyd™ must do our part, too. We can't change the world overnight, but it seems right to us to make the time to do what we can.

Recently, one of our consultants climbed Mont Blanc - the highest peak in Western Europe. The ascent was in aid of
Alimentar Enseñando, a grassroots charity helping extremely impoverished children in Argentina. Many of the superyacht industry's key players lent their support. While he was on the mountain, the organizers of the prestigious Superyacht Cup kindly allowed a raffle to be held during the event. The ascent, of course, was made the hard way - up the Italian side.

matrixLloyd™ does not make any political contributions.
Discretion

Integrity also demands that we are utterly discreet when handing the names and details of beneficial owners, as well as all our other clients. We believe everyone has the right to complete privacy and security.

Transparency

Soliciting or accepting inducements from third party suppliers is a criminal offence in most parts of the world. This often comes as a genuine surprise to those in the industry. And it's no defence where such inducements are termed 'commissions', rather than what they really are: kickbacks. They are only acceptable where the principal has given his or her consent to their receipt. Alas, there are many who still see kickbacks as a basic - if unwritten - part of their remunerative package. It's not the way things are done at matrixLloyd™.

Equal Opportunities

We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of their race, origin, age, gender, beliefs, religion or lifestyle choices. We value diversity, equality and inclusion. We seek to create a work environment based on mutual respect for all individuals, building a culture that appreciates and values the experiences and skills brought by each person to benefit our organisation.

Conservation

Making use of technology to reduce paper and waste, matrixLloyd™ has been an early adopter of the paperless office principle. We actively discourage the receipt of hard-copy brochures and magazines in favour of online versions and electronic material, and are working towards certified carbon neutral status.
